Experience at Life Farm in Monteverde

Granja Life in Monteverde is an association of twelve families from Monteverde, Costa Rica, with a strong background in agriculture and nature conservation. Members of the group have diverse professions and skills, including forestry, environmental education, coffee production, agriculture, human resources, and the arts. Our mission is to produce, protect, and educate to help perpetuate life on Earth.

The farm integrates

The experience occurs on a 42-acre (17-hectare) farm spanning the entire Monteverde region. The farm integrates coffee production, conservation efforts, organic agriculture, and low-impact energy systems. Our commitment to sustainable practices appeals to participants in educational programs and those interested in learning strategies to minimize environmental impact.

      Do you have parking if we drive ourselves?

      If you are not in Monteverde, drive to our office and leave your car safe. If you are in Monteverde, leave your vehicle at your loading, and we will pick you up there.

      Is the tour running even with bad weather conditions?

      We operate the tour during the rainy season and sometimes we vary our routes to always offer safety and a good experience.

      What the minimum age to join the tour?

      As a private tour, you own the time and tour intensity. However, we recommend a minimum age of 7 years old, nevertheless up to you.

      Yes! With us, you can safely store your items. 

      Can I go if I’m pregnant?

      No! We do not recommend our activities if you are pregnant. But once again this is a private tour and we adapt it to your needs.
